This redevelopment will include a large-scale data center campus, marking the site as the largest natural gas-fired power plant in North America.
Trump emphasized the importance of these commitments, stating, "Today's commitments are ensuring the future is going to be designed, built and made right here in Pennsylvania and right here in Pittsburgh and, I have to say, right here in the United States of America." The investment aims to meet the increasing demand for AI and high-performance computing, positioning the state and the country at the forefront of technological development.
