UAE Rescues British Ship Targeted in the Red Sea

Kuwait city: The UAE announced an immediate response to a distress call from the Magic Seas Vessel, a British-flagged ship, which was targeted in the Red Sea. The attack caused damage to the ship's hull and forced the crew to abandon the vessel amidst challenging sea conditions. The SAFEEN PRISM vessel, part of the Abu Dhabi Ports Group, led the rescue operation.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the UAE's Foreign Ministry confirmed that the operation successfully rescued all 22 crew members of the Magic Seas Vessel. The rescue was conducted in coordination with relevant maritime authorities, including the UK Maritime Transport Authority (UKMTO), and various international organizations, adhering to safety standards.

The Ministry emphasized that the swift action reflects the UAE's commitment to ensuring the security and safety of international navigation. The rescue operation also highlights the UAE's dedication to humanitarian solidarity with all nations, addressing the increasing challenges present in strategic waterways.
