Washington: US President Donald Trump on Saturday urged Hamas movement to cease firing in Gaza without delay, warning that procrastination would jeopardize the conciliation negotiations.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Trump stated on "Truth Social" that Israel had temporarily halted bombardment to facilitate the release of hostages and to work out a peace agreement. He emphasized that Hamas should act quickly, otherwise, all scenarios would be possible.
The US president stressed his unwillingness to accept any delay and pledged fair treatment to all parties involved in the conflict. He noted that Hamas had delivered its response to his plan for Gaza on Friday and expressed his belief that the movement was ready for peace.
