Cairo: Egypt announced on Saturday that it will host indirect talks between Hamas and the Israeli occupation next Monday over the implementation of US President Donald Trump's plan to end the war in the Gaza Strip.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry stated that the delegations would discuss conditions required for the exchange of prisoners as per the US President's ceasefire plan, with the aim of ending the war and alleviating the suffering of the Palestinian people, which has persisted for two consecutive years.
These talks are part of efforts to capitalize on the regional and international momentum generated following the announcement of the US president's plan to resolve the conflict in the Gaza Strip.
