Sydney Shooting Gunman Faces Terror Charges

Sydney: Australian police on Wednesday accused the surviving suspect in the recent mass shooting at Bondi Beach in Sydney of terror crimes and 15 counts of murder. New South Wales Police stated that they would argue in court that the involved gunman had killed a number of people, seriously injured dozens, and endangered many others' lives.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the two suspects in the case are Sajid Akram, 50, who was killed in an exchange of fire with police at the scene, and his son, Naveed Akram, 24. The attack, which took place on Sunday, resulted in the death of fifteen people and left dozens of others injured. The incident targeted an event at the famous Bondi Beach in Sydney and is noted as the country's deadliest shooting since 1996.
