Qatari and Spanish Foreign Ministers Discuss Israeli Attacks on Iran

Doha: Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdulrahman received a phone call from the Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of the Kingdom of Spain, Jose Manuel Albares. During the discussion, they focused on bilateral cooperation and explored ways to enhance their support and collaboration. They also reviewed regional developments, particularly focusing on the Israeli attack on Iran, as reported by the Qatar Foreign Ministry.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Thani reiterated Qatar's condemnation of the ongoing Israeli occupation violations and attacks in the region, emphasizing that these actions undermine peace efforts and could potentially lead to a wider conflict. He highlighted the necessity for joint regional and international efforts to de-escalate tensions and resolve disputes through diplomatic means.

The statement further conveyed Al-Thani's commitment to Qatar's intensive efforts, in partnership with its allies, to foster dialogue among all involved parties, address unresolved issues, and enhance security and peace both regionally and globally.
