Kuwait city: Lebanon's National Defense Minister Maj. Gen. Michel Mansi on Tuesday visited the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense's Supply and Logistics Authority, marking a significant step in fostering military cooperation between the two nations. The visit was part of an official trip aimed at strengthening bilateral ties.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Maj. Gen. Michel Mansi was received by Maj. Gen. Engineer Salah Al-Azmi, the Deputy Chief of Staff for Supply and Logistics of the Kuwait Armed Forces. Al-Azmi emphasized that the visit underscores the strong relationship between Lebanon and Kuwait, highlighting a mutual interest in expanding military cooperation and exchanging expertise, particularly in the areas of supply and logistics.
During the visit, Mansi was briefed on the authority's mandate, which includes supporting army units. He also toured the facilities to review their capabilities, equipment, and infrastructure. The Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense issued a press statement noting the significance of this visit in enhancing military cooperation between the two countries.
