Kuwait city: The State of Kuwait is open to cooperate with Armenia on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and cybersecurity, as well as technological industries, thanks to its promising future plans and potential, said Kuwaiti Ambassador to Armenia Mohammad Al-Oraifan on Tuesday. Al-Oraifan made the statement to KUNA after meeting with Armenian Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, discussing ways to enhance collaboration in these fields, including technological and industrial digitalization.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Oraifan highlighted Armenia's recent announcement from last June about the launch of constructing one of AI's largest factories, in collaboration with Firebird AI and NVIDIA, with an estimated cost of USD 500 million. The factory's official operation is set to begin next year. This development underscores Armenia's commitment to advancing its technological capabilities and positions it as a key player in the AI sector.
Al-Oraifan emphasized that Kuwait is eager to strengthen its cooperation with friendly countries in order to keep pace with the rapid global technological progress. He pointed out the global trend towards AI-driven integrated digitalization, which is essential for developing reliable services and cybersecurity measures.
