Kuwait’s Youth Public Authority Introduces ‘Professional Initiator’ Program in AI and Tech Sectors.

Kuwait City: Kuwait's Youth Public Authority (YPA) announced Wednesday the launch of the "Professional Initiator" program in the tech and artificial intelligence (AI) sectors between December 15 and January 30. According to Kuwait News Agency, the authority's Acting Deputy Director General for Youth Projects, Dr. Musaad Al-Kuraibani, stated in a press release that the program targets young entrepreneurs aged 18 to 35. The initiative aims to equip them with the knowledge and skills needed to develop applications using AI. The program includes intensive practical and theoretical training spanning 100 hours over seven weeks, with a focus on various areas that lead to a final project offering innovative solutions. Dr. Al-Kuraibani elaborated that the program is designed to attract entrepreneurial-minded youth who are proficient in English and have basic computer skills. The intention is to harness their potential and assist them in launching startups using AI tools. He emphasized that academics and specialists will provide guidance, helping participants produce prototypes and explore AI fields from a commercial perspective.
