Kuwait City: CEO of Kuwait Petroleum International (Q8), Shafi Al-Ajmi, announced that the company has won two bids to operate major gas stations in Europe. Speaking to KUNA, he explained that the first bid involves operating a gas station on a main highway in Luxembourg, while the second pertains to another station in the same area.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Ajmi emphasized that this accomplishment is a crucial step toward achieving the company's strategic objectives in the European market. The new contracts aim to enhance Q8's marketing presence in Europe and strengthen Kuwait's oil sector globally, particularly in fuel retail operations. The operation for both stations is set to commence on May 1 and will span a period of four years.
Kuwait Petroleum International was established in 1983 and serves as the refining and marketing arm of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation. It manages an extensive network of over 4,700 retail gas and service stations, with more than 2,800 located in Italy.
