Kuwait’s CSC Organizes Leadership Workshop in Tokyo

Kuwait City: Kuwait's Civil Service Commission (CSC) organized a workshop on leadership in the Japanese capital, Tokyo, with several Kuwaiti officials attending, as part of international cooperation and leadership efficiency promotion. The workshop was part of an initiative aimed at enhancing leadership skills and strategic decision-making among senior leaders in Kuwaiti state institutions.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the workshop was conducted under a memorandum of understanding with the Japan International Cooperation Center (JICC). It was held from January 20-24 and aimed to upgrade participants' leadership skills through a comprehensive training program. The focus areas included strategic leadership, data-based decision-making, change management, and effective communication.

The CSC emphasized that the workshop aimed to empower participants with strategic thinking and long-term planning capabilities. It also sought to enhance team management skills, stimulate innovation, and promote institutional development. The workshop was considered a step towards achieving comprehensive development and promoting institutional innovation, with an emphasis on improving government performance efficiency and supporting Kuwait's future vision.

In addition to the training sessions, the Acting Charge d'Affaires of the Kuwaiti Embassy in Tokyo, Khaled Al-Zeer, hosted a luncheon to honor the Kuwaiti team and Japanese officials participating in the workshop. Notable attendees included KUNA Director-General Dr. Fatma Al-Salem, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Zyad Al-Najem, and other senior officials from various ministries and departments.
