Kuwait city: Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Company (KUFPEC) signed an agreement with TotalEnergies to support KUFPEC's strategic directions and enhance its international exploration and production activities. The agreement was signed during the Kuwait Oil and Gas Show (KOGS 2026) in the presence of His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the agreement establishes a strategic partnership with France's TotalEnergies, focusing on knowledge exchange, technical expertise sharing, and potential collaboration opportunities across KUFPEC's global projects. KUFPEC ECO Eisa Al-Maraghi emphasized that this agreement reflects KUFPEC's dedication to forming and strengthening partnerships with leading energy companies worldwide.
In addition to the agreement with TotalEnergies, KUFPEC signed a separate strategic partnership agreement with Shell Kuwait Exploration and Production. These agreements highlight KUFPEC's commitment to creating long-term partnerships centered on value creation through cooperation with major global energy companies. KUFPEC aims to establish an organized platform for collaboration and knowledge exchange through these partnerships.
KUFPEC, a subsidiary of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC), is tasked with oil and natural gas exploration and production activities outside Kuwait.
