Kuwait’s Amir to Attend GCC Summit in Bahrain

Kuwait city: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah will travel to Bahrain on Wednesday to participate in the 46th GCC Summit.

According to Kuwait News Agency, this participation underscores Kuwait's ongoing commitment to regional cooperation and diplomacy within the Gulf Cooperation Council.

The Kuwaiti Cabinet has approved a new bill aimed at regulating money exchange activities. This legislation will impose penalties on individuals conducting unlicensed money exchange operations, including the buying, selling, exchanging, or transferring of local or foreign currency without appropriate licensing.

In Geneva, Kuwait reaffirmed its steadfast support for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). The country's contributions to the UNHCR have exceeded USD 560 million over the past ten years, highlighting Kuwait's commitment to humanitarian efforts.
