Kuwait city: Kuwait and the UAE's successive leaders have been eager to consolidate deep-rooted and historic relations between the two sisterly countries, Kuwait's First Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah said on Wednesday. Sheikh Fahad made the statement during a ceremony at the UAE Embassy marking the 54th National Day of the UAE.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yusuf emphasized that the relationship between Kuwait and the UAE has been robust for decades, a testament to the efforts of successive rulers from both nations. He expressed pride in the achievements of the 46th session of the GCC Supreme Council, held in Bahrain earlier in the day, which aimed to strengthen ties among GCC leaders and peoples, yielding positive and constructive outcomes across various levels.
The Kuwait Cabinet, during its weekly meeting on Tuesday, extended congratulations to the UAE on the occasion of its National Day, which falls on December 2. The Cabinet expressed wishes for continued security, safety, and prosperity for the people of the UAE.
