Dubai: His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah departed the United Arab Emirates after leading the Kuwait delegation to the World Governments Summit (WGS 2026) in Dubai. His departure marked the conclusion of his participation in the event that gathers global leaders to discuss governance and public policy.
According to Kuwait News Agency, His Highness was seen off by UAE Vice President, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammad bin Rashid Al-Maktoum and Minister of State for Federal National Council Affairs Abdurrahman Al-Owais. Also present were Kuwait Ambassador to the UAE Dr. Matar Al-Niadi, Kuwait's Ambassador to the UAE Jamal Al-Ghunaim, and Consul General in Dubai and the Northern Emirates Khaled Al-Zaaby.
In press remarks prior to his departure, His Highness the Prime Minister expressed his appreciation for UAE President Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al-Nahyan and the Emirati leadership for organizing the summit. He also acknowledged the hospitality extended by the Emirati people during the event.
