Nakheel Village Hosts Al-Ahsa Rice Festival

Nakheel village: The Al-Ahsa branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture inaugurated the first-ever Al-Ahsa rice festival yesterday in Nakheel Village.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the five-day festival united Al-Ahsa's leading rice farmers and local producers while advancing agricultural extension goals, including sharing cultivation expertise, introducing modern practices to enhance quality and productivity, and fostering sustainability.

The festival offers 20 colorful booths filled with rice products, local foods, and traditional handicrafts that showcase the region's rich agricultural and cultural legacy.

The festival provides farmers and families working in the cottage industry with a platform to promote their products, highlight local agricultural goods, foster community engagement, and solidify Al-Ahsa rice as a prominent symbol of the governorate's agriculture.
