Kuwait city: The Interior Ministry has urged females whose Kuwaiti citizenship was revoked under Article 8 of the Kuwaiti Nationality Law to complete status correction procedures within the specified timeframe. The Ministry emphasized that adhering to the deadline would allow these individuals to be treated as "Kuwaiti" citizens, highlighting that any delays or lack of seriousness could result in the cancellation of benefits.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Ministry clarified that the status correction process does not impede individuals from submitting appeals to the Citizenship Withdrawal Grievance Committee. The deadline for completing these procedures is set for August 31, 2025. The Ministry also announced plans to launch an online platform for submitting the necessary documents in the coming days.
