Kuwait Sports Official Commends Record Presence in Harbin ’25

Kuwait City: Kuwait is fielding the 9th Asian Winter Games in Harbin, China from February 7-14, with the largest Arab mission, the delegation's Chief Fahed Al-Ajmi said on Saturday. Kuwaiti athletes will compete in four sports, including ice hockey, figure skating, ice skating, and curling. According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Ajmi, who represents the Kuwait Winter Games Club, stated in a press release that the Kuwaiti ice hockey team has already arrived in Harbin. They are set to face the Kyrgyzstan team in their first matchup. Additionally, Kuwait's curling team will compete against Mongolia and Thailand on Tuesday. Al-Ajmi highlighted that more than 1,500 athletes from 34 countries are expected to participate in the event, making it a significant gathering for the Asian Winter Games.
