Kuwait PM Oversees Key Infrastructure and Transportation Projects

Kuwait city: His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah chaired a meeting of the coordinating committee responsible for overseeing Kuwait's infrastructure and transportation projects.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the meeting focused on implementing effective oversight tools designed to enhance road safety and optimize infrastructure use. Discussions centered on reducing burdens and costs on the infrastructure, alleviating pressure on the road network, and minimizing material and human losses. The meeting also addressed measures to curb customs evasion at land, sea, and air ports.

His Highness emphasized that these initiatives align with the state's ongoing efforts to protect national infrastructure and maintain the sustainable and efficient operation of its facilities. The goal is to achieve a balance between facilitating transportation and trade. The meeting, held at Bayan Palace, included reviews of several housing developments and their current progress. Attendees included Head of the Prime Minister's Diwan Abdulaziz Al-Dekheel, Minister of Public Works Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan, and other senior officials.
