Kuwait city: The Kuwait General Administration of Customs (GAC) announced the launch of the first phase of e-linkage with the GCC Customs Union Authority to share customs information and documents. This initiative marks a significant step in the ongoing efforts to enhance Gulf customs integration and support the objectives of the union through the Gulf network.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the e-linkage phase is part of the strategic projects approved by the GCC Customs Union. It reflects the GAC's commitment to developing operations and improving institutional coordination and integration with similar bodies within the GCC. The project aims to unify measures, facilitate trade movement, and achieve high levels of efficiency and operational readiness in line with the organizational frameworks set by the union.
