Kuwait city: Kuwait's First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah, conducted a field security tour in the Abdali area to assess the security situation and inspect key sites related to food security and public services.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) issued a press release stating that the tour included visits to several farms. During these visits, Sheikh Fahad Yusuf was briefed on the operations, efforts of workers in the sector, and the challenges farmers face. He emphasized the ministry's support for initiatives that enhance security and stability, serving the public interest.
Sheikh Fahad Yusuf also visited the Abdali farmers' market, where he reviewed its organization and operations. He acknowledged the market's role in supporting local produce and food security and highlighted the importance of adhering to rules and instructions to ensure safety.
Furthermore, he visited the Kuwaiti Farmers Union headquarters, where he met with several farmers to hear their feedback and proposals. The statement emphasized the ministry's commitment to engaging directly with the community to strengthen partnership and cooperation.
