Kuwait city: Minister of Health Dr. Ahmad Al-Awadhi on Thursday discussed enhancing healthcare cooperation with representatives of US hospitals and medical companies to support the development of Kuwait's health system.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Awadhi stated that the ministry is aiming for direct partnerships between specialized departments in Kuwait and leading US institutions. Assistant Undersecretary Dr. Hisham Kalander highlighted that cooperation with institutions such as Johns Hopkins Hospital and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute has already contributed to improving service quality. This collaboration has expanded programs for visiting doctors and telemedicine, with plans to sign additional memoranda of understanding.
