Kuwait Fund Reviews Progress on Lebanon Development Projects Amid Official Visit

Beirut: The Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development's (KFAED) visit to Lebanon aims to follow up on the progress of development projects it is financing there, its acting chief said on Monday. These projects are crucial in maintaining Lebanon's economic growth, with a focus on improving infrastructure and basic services as the primary goals of the KFAED-funded initiatives. According to Kuwait News Agency, Waleed Al-Bahar, the acting chief of KFAED, is in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, to assess the ongoing projects. He plans to meet with several top Lebanese officials to strengthen bilateral economic cooperation, benefiting both Kuwait and Lebanon. Lebanon's Finance Minister, Yassine Jaber, discussed the necessity of advancing certain development projects that have faced obstacles due to prolonged civil unrest in Lebanon. He expressed hope that some of the key projects funded by the Kuwait-based fund would be completed soon.
