Kuwait city: The State of Kuwait is keen on boosting cooperation among GCC countries on crisis management, Director General of Kuwait Civil Defense, Brigadier Mansour Al-Hashash, affirmed on Tuesday. Speaking at the opening of the 34th meeting of the GCC Civil Defense Authorities, Al-Hashash emphasized Kuwait's commitment to enhancing collaborative efforts within the GCC to effectively address challenges and manage crises.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Hashash welcomed participants to the three-day meeting, expressing optimism that it would strengthen joint GCC collaborations on civil defense matters. The meeting's agenda includes discussing the outcomes of the 41st meeting of the GCC Interior Ministers regarding civil defense and emergency response.
The agenda further highlights the involvement of women in civil defense training and the exchange of expertise online, among other pertinent issues.
