Brussels: The embassies of Kuwait in Belgium, Mongolia, Czech, and Indonesia recently organized receptions to commemorate Kuwait's 65th National Day and the 35th Liberation Day, attracting numerous officials and diplomats.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the celebrations highlighted Kuwait's diplomatic relations and future aspirations in these regions.
In Brussels, Kuwaiti Ambassador to Belgium and Chief of the Kuwaiti Mission at the EU and NATO, Nawaf Al-Enezi, extended his congratulations to Kuwait's leadership and citizens. During the reception, Al-Enezi emphasized Kuwait's ongoing development journey under its leadership and outlined the country's significant investments in infrastructure, transport, and digital services. He also discussed Kuwait's commitment to fostering relationships with other countries, highlighting a visit from a Belgian and Luxembourgian trade delegation comprising over 40 companies last year. The ambassador pointed out Kuwait's successful energy investments in Belgium through Q8 company and expressed Kuwait's readiness to strengthen its market presence in Belgium.
In Mongolia, the Kuwaiti Embassy hosted a reception attended by Mongolian ministers, businessmen, diplomats, and media figures. Kuwait Ambassador to Mongolia, Mutlaq Al-Thuwaimer, congratulated Kuwait's leadership and people on the national celebrations. He emphasized the strong relations between Kuwait and Mongolia, expressing a desire to further enhance these ties. The Mongolian Minister of Food, Agriculture, and Light Industries also congratulated Kuwait and affirmed the close bilateral relations between the two nations.
In Prague, Charge d'Affaires Falah Al-Hajraf of the Kuwaiti Embassy conveyed his congratulations to Kuwait's leadership and citizens. The reception in Prague was attended by Czech ministers, including Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Maj. Gen. Jaromr Zuna, along with other senior officials and diplomats. The event also welcomed businesspeople and members of the Arab community, celebrating the strong relations between Kuwait and the Czech Republic.
In Jakarta, Kuwaiti Ambassador Khaled Al-Yassin extended his greetings to Kuwait's leadership and citizens. During the ceremony, Al-Yassin emphasized Kuwait's dedication to sustainable development and its aim to become an international financial and trade hub. He highlighted Kuwait's humanitarian and relief efforts globally and the crucial role of the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development. Indonesian Minister of Manpower Yassierli expressed Indonesia's commitment to strengthening long-term cooperation with Kuwait, particularly in the energy, trade, investment, and labor sectors, while exploring new avenues for mutual benefit.
