Manama: The Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Saturday welcomed the high-level talks between the United States and Iran hosted in Oman.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the ministry expressed appreciation for Oman's diplomatic efforts and expressed hope that these discussions would lead to promoting peaceful solutions to disagreements through dialogue and negotiations. The ministry emphasized the importance of aligning these efforts with international legitimacy and the UN Charter, aiming to build trust and support security, stability, and peace both regionally and internationally.
The talks in Muscat represented a new round of indirect negotiations between the US and Iran, seeking to reach a settlement between the two nations. Both parties have agreed to reconvene early next week.
