Qatari and Iranian Foreign Ministers Discuss Regional Tensions

Doha: Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdulrahman held discussions with Iranian Foreign Minister Dr. Abbas Araghchi on efforts to reduce regional tensions.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the meeting was held in Doha. During the discussions, Sheikh Mohammad reiterated Qatar's support for ongoing negotiations between the United States and Iran in Muscat. He expressed hope that these negotiations would result in a comprehensive agreement benefiting both parties and enhancing security and stability in the region.

Sheikh Mohammad also highlighted the importance of coordinated efforts to protect the region's peoples from the consequences of escalation. He stressed continued collaboration with brotherly and friendly countries to resolve differences through diplomatic means.
