Kuwait City: Kuwaiti Minister of Defense and Acting Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Sabah attended the graduation ceremony of a new batch of 28 pilots.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Sheikh Abdullah Al-Sabah emphasized the significance of this group of young Kuwaitis as an addition to the air forces during his speech after distributing certificates to the graduates.
The minister highlighted that the achievements of the graduates resulted from intensive training and continuous efforts within a modern system established by the Ministry of Defense. This system aims to qualify national cadres with high technical and professional standards to address increasing security challenges and keep pace with rapid developments in the aviation field.
Sheikh Abdullah Al-Sabah underscored the importance of continuously developing air systems to enhance the armed forces' capabilities and enable them to carry out missions efficiently and professionally under various circumstances. He encouraged the graduates to remain dedicated, disciplined, and committed to learning and developing their capabilities.
The minister also conducted a field tour that included visits to Salem Al-Sabah Air Base and Ali Al-Salem Air Base. During the tour, he was briefed on operational and technical facilities such as the flight simulation wing, the training building, and aircraft hangars. He received detailed information on the operational capabilities of these facilities and their role in supporting the air system, and praised the high readiness and technical efficiency observed.
Deputy Chief of Staff of the Army Air Vice Marshal Sabah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Commander of the Air Force Air Commodore Pilot Mohammad Al-Hamdan, and several senior Air Force officers were also present at the graduation ceremony.
