Kuwait City: Kuwait is partnering with Google Cloud to create an all-encompassing platform aimed at advancing the nation's digital initiatives, Communications Minister Omar Al-Omar announced. This ambitious project promises a "digital journey" characterized by convenience and simplicity, forming an integrated and efficient system. Al-Omar made these remarks to KUNA following a roundtable discussion organized by his ministry alongside Google Cloud, which gathered numerous government leaders and decision-makers.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the success of this national initiative is heavily dependent on the collaboration between state entities, which are considered vital components of the country's digital infrastructure. The minister noted that these digital expansion plans align with Kuwait's Vision 2035 development agenda.
Director of Google Cloud in Kuwait, Shaima Al-Terkait, expressed her enthusiasm for contributing to the acceleration of Kuwait's national digital drive. She emphasized that this project would aid in constructing a robust digital economy. The primary goal of the initiative is to enhance the quality of digital services offered by the state through the development of a centralized and unified platform that is user-friendly and seamless.
Rao Surapaneni, Vice President of Platforms and Applications at Google Cloud, shared his optimism regarding the project's ability to achieve its goals. He believes the new platform will enable the state to deliver quality services to the public through a fully operational digital system.
