Kuwait Charity Office Initiates Iftar Banquets Project Across Egyptian Governorates

Cairo: The Director of the Kuwaiti Office for Charitable Projects in Cairo, Jamal Al-Majdali, announced the implementation of an Iftar banquets project across several Egyptian governorates. This initiative is part of Kuwait's ongoing humanitarian and charitable efforts to support communities and promote social solidarity.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Majdali stated that the project involved the preparation and distribution of 3,453 cartons of dry food supplies. These cartons, filled with essential goods, were specifically designed to meet the needs of families during Ramadan. The distribution targeted the most vulnerable families and was conducted in collaboration with approved charitable societies participating in Kuwait's humanitarian work abroad.

Al-Majdali highlighted that a careful enumeration process was employed to ensure aid reached its intended recipients. Priority was given to families in need, the elderly, widows, and individuals with special needs. The distribution spanned 17 areas within six Egyptian governorates, thereby expanding the reach and impact of the project.

Furthermore, Al-Majdali emphasized that this initiative is part of a broader package of seasonal programs conducted by the office each Ramadan. These efforts underscore Kuwait's longstanding commitment to humanitarian work, aiming to alleviate living burdens and enhance social stability for targeted groups. The office remains dedicated to implementing meaningful projects that contribute to relief and development in brotherly and friendly nations.
