Kuwait city: Kuwait's Qadsia have cruised into the semi-finals of the Gulf Club Champions League after beating UAE's Ain 1-0 as part of the last round of Group A, on Wednesday. Qadsia's sole goal was scored by Badr Al-Mutawa in the 50th minute of the game held at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium. According to Kuwait News Agency, a red card was shown to Ain's Ibrahima Nadiya in the 12th minute, which enhanced Qadsia's performance, putting pressure on their rivals' net and leading the game. This win raised Qadsia's points to 10, reaching the semi-final rounds after getting the second place, while Iraq's Zakho came first with 13 points.
