Kuwait City: The Kuwait Chief of General Staff announced that the National Initiative for Assessing the Risks and Damage from Nuclear Reactors convened on Tuesday to evaluate measures in response to recent regional developments. The meeting focused on reviewing the country's preparedness and capabilities in key sectors such as energy, water, and health, as well as assessing the readiness of vital sectors to manage emergencies and disasters effectively.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the press statement from the Chief of General Staff of the Kuwait Army highlighted that the discussions also covered environmental monitoring strategies and approaches to handling air and sea crises. Furthermore, the meeting addressed civil defense plans and explored mechanisms for support and coordination among relevant authorities. This initiative aims to enhance integration among state institutions and boost the level of coordination and preparedness to confront potential risks.
