Paris: In the presence of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and President of France Emmanuel Macron, a ceremony was held at the Elysee Palace for the signing of two declarations of intent between Kuwait and France.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the first declaration of intent focuses on a Strategic Investment Partnership for the years 2025-2035. This agreement underscores the commitment of both nations to enhance their economic collaboration over the next decade.
The second declaration aims to strengthen cooperation in the cultural domain and is set to commemorate the 65th anniversary of Kuwaiti-French diplomatic relations in 2026. This agreement highlights the importance of cultural ties in the longstanding partnership between the two countries.
The declarations were signed by Kuwaiti Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Al-Yahya and French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Noel Barrot, marking a significant milestone in bilateral relations.
