Kuwait city: Kuwait News Agency's (KUNA) media development center concluded its training program "Modern Approaches in Media and Public Relations," which began last Sunday. Participants included representatives from KUNA, the Interior Ministry, Commerce Ministry, Kuwait Ports Authority, and Supreme Council for Planning and Development.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the program was delivered by Dr. Rashid Al-Helfi, Director of Development and Training at the Electronic Media Union, and educational technology specialist Sara Hussein from the Ministry of Education. The training focused on modern developments in media and public relations, emphasizing their role in enhancing institutional communication and promoting a positive societal image through the integration of theory and practical case studies.
Dr. Al-Helfi noted that the program aimed to develop professional skills in line with digital-era requirements, with a focus on creative messaging and building positive institutional perceptions. Participants were trained in preparing media content, crafting communication messages, and using social media to support organizational plans, highlighting the importance of continuous professional development in global media.
Sara Hussein highlighted that the program provided a platform for experience exchange, expanding participants' knowledge of modern public relations practices. It reinforced teamwork between media and PR units to achieve institutional goals, stressing that professional communication based on ethics and transparency is key to successful media work.
