Cairo: The visiting Kuwaiti Prime Minister, His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, engaged in official discussions with his Egyptian counterpart, Dr. Mostafa Madbouli, focusing on enhancing bilateral ties between Kuwait and Egypt. The talks centered on reinforcing the cooperative relationship shared by the two nations.
According to Kuwait News Agency, both leaders exchanged perspectives on regional and international developments, emphasizing the importance of ongoing consultations and coordination on various matters. In addition to political discussions, they explored opportunities to strengthen trade relations and economic partnerships. His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah expressed his appreciation for the strong ties between Kuwait and Egypt, noting that these relations are based on mutual respect and collaborative efforts across different sectors.
The discussions included high-ranking Egyptian officials such as the Governor of the Egyptian Central Bank, Hassan Abdullah, Finance Minister Ahmad Kojok, Minister of Supplies and Internal Trade Dr. Sherif Faruq, and Minister of Investment and External Trade Hassan Khatib. From the Kuwaiti delegation, notable participants included the Minister of Electricity, Water, Renewable Energy, Minister of Finance, and the Acting Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment, Dr. Sabeeh Al-Mukhaizeem. Other Kuwaiti representatives included Undersecretary of the Prime Minister's Diwan Sheikh Khaled Mohammad Al-Khaled Al-Sabah, Managing Director and Board Member of the Public Investment Authority Sheikh Saud Salem Abdulaziz Al-Sabah, the State of Kuwait Ambassador Ghanem Saqr Al-Ghanem, and Sheikh Abdullah Sabah Humoud Al-Sabah from the Direct Investment Promotion Authority.
