KSrelief Partners with UNHCR to Deliver Shelter Aid to Families in Cameroon

Riyadh: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) signed today, via videoconference, a joint executive program with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to provide shelter assistance to the most vulnerable families in the Republic of Cameroon.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the program was signed by KSrelief Assistant Supervisor General for Operations and Programs Eng. Ahmed bin Ali Al-Baiz and Senior Advisor to the High Commissioner for Refugees and UNHCR Regional Representative to the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Countries Khaled Khalifa.

Under the program, KSrelief will provide a financial contribution to UNHCR to procure 3,000 shelter kits and distribute 850 emergency shelter assistance packages in Cameroon, benefiting 23,100 individuals.

This program is part of the humanitarian efforts provided by the Kingdom, through KSrelief, to meet the basic needs of vulnerable and affected communities worldwide and help alleviate their suffering.
