Minister of Islamic Affairs and Iraq’s Sunni Endowment Head Discuss Cooperation

Jeddah: Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif Al Alsheikh met today in his office in Jeddah with Head of the Sunni Endowment Office in Iraq Dr. Amer Shaker Al-Janabi and his accompanying delegation, who are currently on a visit to the Kingdom.

According to Saudi Press Agency, during the meeting, they discussed several issues of mutual interest and reviewed ways to enhance cooperation between the two sides in fields related to serving Islam and Muslims. Dr. Al Alsheikh highlighted the Kingdom's efforts in serving Islam and Muslims, caring for the Holy Qur'an, supporting Islamic work locally and internationally, promoting the values of moderation and tolerance, and strengthening cooperation with brotherly countries in a manner that serves the causes of the Islamic nation.

For his part, Dr. Al-Janabi praised the efforts of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance in serving Islam and Muslims around the world, promoting religious values that encourage tolerance and reject fanaticism and extremism, and highlighting the virtues of Islam.
