Kuwait City: Chief of the Kuwait National Guard (KNG) Sheikh Mubarak Humoud Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Wednesday received US Ambassador in Kuwait Karen Sasahara. During the meeting, Ambassador Sasahara congratulated Sheikh Mubarak on his recent appointment as the chief of the National Guard. According to Kuwait News Agency, the KNG issued a press statement in which Sheikh Mubarak Al-Sabah expressed his appreciation for the long-standing bilateral relations between Kuwait and the United States. The statement emphasized the importance of the partnership and cooperation between the two nations.
