Kuwait city: The Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) and the Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah Diplomatic Institute have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the aim of developing specialized training programs to improve the capabilities and skills of Kuwaiti diplomats.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the MoU is part of KFAS's commitment to supporting national institutions by enhancing the readiness of human resources in alignment with its 2025-2029 strategy. This strategy focuses on investing in capabilities and fostering a sustainable knowledge system. The agreement seeks to establish a framework for cooperation in designing and implementing training programs that enhance diplomats' expertise and negotiating skills, particularly on priority issues such as climate action and women's empowerment.
The signing ceremony was graced by the presence of KFAS Director General Dr. Amina Farhan and Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for the Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah Diplomatic Institute, Ambassador Nasser Al-Subeeh.
