Khan younis: A young Palestinian man was killed on Wednesday by Israeli occupation forces in the eastern part of Khan Younis, located in the southern Gaza Strip. The incident occurred as Israeli occupation attacks continued across different areas of the Strip.
According to Kuwait News Agency, eyewitnesses reported that Israeli military vehicles opened heavy fire on eastern Khan Younis. Simultaneously, artillery shelling targeted the eastern part of Al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
In addition to the events in Khan Younis, Rafah in southern Gaza was subjected to intense artillery shelling on Wednesday morning. Israeli warplanes also launched an airstrike on eastern Gaza City at dawn, and military vehicles opened fire on eastern areas of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip.
These military actions are a continuation of ongoing violations of the ceasefire agreement. Official sources report that these violations have led to the deaths of 603 Palestinians and injuries to 1,618 others since last October.
Since October 8, 2023, the Israeli occupation has persisted in its military campaign on Gaza. The conflict has resulted in the martyrdom of more than 72,000 Palestinians and injuries to over 171,000 individuals, along with widespread destruction of infrastructure and property throughout the Strip.
