Kuwait Airways Launches Flights to Moscow Starting March 16

Kuwait city: Kuwait Airways announced the launch of its first scheduled commercial flights to the Russian capital, Moscow, with operations set to commence on March 16. The airline will operate three weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Acting Chief Executive Officer Abdulwahab Al-Shatti stated that bookings for the Moscow flights will open tomorrow at 12:00 p.m. This new service is part of Kuwait Airways' strategy to meet the growing travel demand between Kuwait and Russia.

Al-Shatti explained that the introduction of Moscow as a new destination is a reflection of Kuwait Airways' commitment to expanding its route network. This move aims to reinforce Kuwait's position as a regional aviation hub, offering broader travel options for both tourism and business purposes.

He further noted that the airline plans to diversify its destinations and address increasing demand during the upcoming summer season. This aligns with Kuwait Airways' growth and expansion plans as well as efforts to enhance operational efficiency.

Al-Shatti emphasized that passenger comfort remains a priority for Kuwait Airways. The airline's modern fleet is equipped with advanced in-flight entertainment systems, diverse meal options, and highly trained cabin crews committed to providing excellent service.

Kuwait Airways, founded in 1953 as Kuwait National Airways Limited, began operations on March 16, 1954, and became wholly owned by the Government of Kuwait in 1962.
