Israeli Forces and Settler Responsible for Killing Two Palestinians in West Bank

Nablus: Two Palestinians were killed Monday morning in the West Bank governorates of Nablus and Al-Khalil, with one being shot by Israeli occupation forces and the other by a settler, reported the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

According to Kuwait News Agency, a statement from the ministry explained that 17-year-old Jameel Hanani was killed after being shot by Israeli occupation forces during a raid on the town of Beit Furik, east of Nablus, on Sunday night. The raid sparked clashes during which live ammunition was used. Hanani was critically wounded in the chest, transferred to a hospital, and taken to the operating room but ultimately succumbed to his injuries.

The Palestinian News and Information Agency (WAFA) reported the second incident, where Ahmad Al-Atrash was shot and killed early Monday morning by a settler at the northern entrance to Al-Khalil. WAFA noted that Israeli occupation forces took Al-Atrash's body to an unknown location after summoning his family for identification.

In a press statement, the Palestine Red Crescent Society noted that Israeli occupation forces prevented its crews from assisting a person with a head wound in the Ras Al-Joura area of Al-Khalil. The ambulance crews were not allowed to reach the wounded individual, who was declared dead.
