Tehran: Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs, Kazem Gharibabadi, confirmed that Rome is set to host the second round of nuclear talks with the United States on Saturday. This announcement was made during his interview with a state-run TV station on Wednesday, putting to rest any speculations about a change in venue.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Iran has not received any requests for altering the location of these significant discussions. This comes after an earlier statement by Iran, indicating that Oman would once again host the talks, as it did in the first round.
Last Saturday, discussions in Muscat saw US Special Envoy for the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, and Iranian Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, deliberating over the prospects of a new agreement concerning Iran's nuclear program.
