Kuwait City: The Ministry of Interior announced that the Arabian Gulf Road will experience temporary closures on Saturday morning due to the Gulf Bank 642 Marathon 2024. The closures will impact both directions of the road between Souq Sharq and the Sheikh Jaber Cultural Center from 6:30 am to 9:30 am local time. According to Kuwait News Agency, the section of the road between the Green Island and Souq Sharq will also see a one-direction closure from 6:30 am to 12:30 pm, following the marathon route. The Ministry's Public Relations and Security Media Department released this information on Friday, emphasizing the need for public cooperation during this period. The Ministry has urged motorists and the public to adhere to security regulations and utilize alternative routes. They also advised that in case of emergencies, the public should contact the emergency hotline 112.
