GCC Army Chief Aides Convene Ahead of Higher Committee Talks

Kuwait city: A preparatory committee comprising the assistants of army chiefs within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) convened for talks on Tuesday, a day before a higher-level gathering involving the militaries of the six-member bloc. The talks focused on enhancing collaboration among the member states in military operations and planning.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the discussions were presided over by Brigadier General Raed Al-Sakran, the Kuwaiti military's acting assistant chief of staff for operations and planning. The meeting was centered on reviewing decisions and proposals pertinent to joint military efforts within the GCC framework.

The gathering aims to strengthen cooperation on military training and operational skills within the Riyadh-based bloc. The Kuwait army statement emphasized the importance of these discussions for fostering greater unity and effectiveness in joint military endeavors.
