Gazans Joyfully Welcome Released Palestinian Prisoners

Gaza: Hundreds of Palestinians warmly welcomed on Monday in the Gaza Strip the prisoners released from Israeli occupation prisons after years of deprivation and visitation bans.

According to Kuwait News Agency, buses of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) transported the prisoners to Nasser Medical Complex, which was prepared to accommodate about 1,900 people, in order to conduct necessary comprehensive medical examinations and provide them with healthcare.

Palestinian prisoners' families reacted to the event with ululations, flowers, and national songs, as well as firing shots in the air to follow Palestinian traditions.
