Cairo: Egypt on Sunday restated its rejection of displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip as "ethically and legally unprovoked historical oppression," warning that it would unquestionably culminate in the liquidation of the Palestinian cause.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed extreme concern over recent reports about Israeli occupation consultations with some countries to host Gazans. The ministry described these discussions as part of an unacceptable plot to dispossess Palestinians, occupy their territory, and liquidate their cause.
The statement further revealed that Egypt had communicated with countries believed to be considering hosting Palestinians. However, these countries have dismissed such plans as condemnable schemes.
Egypt also issued a call to all peace-loving nations worldwide to avoid actions that violate international humanitarian law principles.
