Kuwait city: The Arab Parliament strongly condemned the repeated attacks by the Israeli occupation on Lebanese and Syrian territory, calling them a flagrant violation of international law and a serious threat to state sovereignty and regional stability.
According to Kuwait News Agency, in a statement on Wednesday, the Arab Parliament warned that the continuation of these unacceptable assaults will further heighten tension and instability. The statement emphasized that these actions reflect a systematic policy to impose facts on the ground by force, in total disregard of international legitimacy and relevant United Nations and Security Council resolutions.
The Parliament expressed full support for Lebanon and Syria in safeguarding their sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the safety of their citizens. It urged the international community to act urgently to stop this dangerous escalation.
Furthermore, the Arab Parliament reiterated its strong rejection of any practices that infringe upon the sovereignty of Arab states, stressing that regional security depends on full respect for international law, state sovereignty, and noninterference in internal affairs.
