Kuwait Denounces Continuing Israeli Aggression on Syria

Kuwait city: The State of Kuwait has issued a strong condemnation against the ongoing attacks by Israeli occupation forces on Syrian territories. These hostilities, which began yesterday, have drawn severe criticism from Kuwait's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as highlighted in a statement released on Wednesday.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the assaults targeted multiple government institutions in both the Syrian capital, Damascus, and the southern governorate of Al-Suwayda. The attacks have resulted in numerous civilian casualties, including women and children. Additionally, the onslaught has caused significant material damage to civilian infrastructure and public utilities, further threatening to escalate the violence and instability in the region.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs called upon the international community, and particularly the UN Security Council, to take responsibility in putting a stop to the Israeli aggression and ensuring those responsible are held accountable. It reaffirmed Kuwait's unwavering support for the Syrian Arab Republic and its right to take necessary measures to safeguard its security, stability, and sovereignty.
