Cairo: The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) called on establishments subject to withholding tax in the Kingdom to submit their withholding tax returns for January 2026 no later than February 10, 2026.
According to Saudi Press Agency, ZATCA urged taxpayers to promptly file their returns through its website (https://zatca.gov.sa/ar/Pages/default.aspx) to avoid late-payment penalties of 1% of the unpaid tax for every 30 days of delay from the due date.
The authority also invited business taxpayers seeking further information about withholding tax to contact ZATCA via the unified call center number (19993), available 24/7; the account on X (@Zatca_Care); email ([email protected]); or the live chat service on the authority's website.
Withholding tax is imposed on all payments made from a source in the Kingdom to non-resident entities that do not have a permanent establishment in Saudi Arabia, in accordance with the rates specified in Article 68 of the Income Tax Law and Article 63 of its Implementing Regulations.
